Drum and Bugle Corps is very similar to a typical marching band... the only
difference coming in instrumentation. While marching bands contain woodwind
instruments (flutes, clarinets, etc...), Drum and Bugle Corps is comprised
of field brass and percussion only.
DCI (Drum Corps International)'s season begins in May and runs through the third week in August, but preparation begins some six months in advance.
